FT6 upgrade, good support
I upgraded to Forex Tester 6 from an older version last month. The process was straightforward, I just followed the instructions on their site. I also added the Standard Data Feed at the same time. Good for backtesting, minor issues
I purchased Forex Tester 6 a few weeks ago for backtesting. It's a pretty powerful tool for simulating trades and testing strategies, much better than just using MetaTrader for that. The setup was easy enough. I got the Basic Data Feed with it, which is decent. My only minor gripe was that some of the older historical data, specifically for less common pairs, wasn't as readily available or had small gaps, which was a bit annoying when I tried to go really far back. Overall, it's a good investment for improving trading skills, but the data coverage could be more comprehensive for all assets.

I've been using Forex Tester for years, starting with FT4. I just renewed my Standard Data Feed. It's reliable. The data is always accurate. I appreciate not having to worry about that.

hey, was thinking about grabbing this for my mac. does it even work on mac or do i need to run a vm or something?
anyone know if the historical data you get with it is any good? or do i have to pay extra for decent data feeds?
how does this compare to ninjatrader for backtesting? is it worth switching if i'm used to NT?
